Solar Eclipse Safety
It is important to be safe while watching the eclipse. Too much exposure to the sun could cause damage to vision, which is why solar eclipse filters are necessary when watching a solar eclipse. Filters must always be worn except for the few minutes of the total eclipse when it is safe to take them off. However, since Atlanta will not be in the path of totality, the filters must be worn at all times.
