CT&LS Science and Social Studies Standards Rollout Phase 2 Workshop
Please join us for Phase 2 face-to-face workshop. We will focus on:

• Engaging teachers in balanced science and social studies instruction
• Targeting core concepts
• Practicing model lessons developed to support balanced instruction

The face-to-face workshop will be a dynamic afternoon of learning-by-doing as we practice model lessons. It will take place on Thursday, December 8th from 3:15 to 4:45 for elementary teachers and from 5:00 to 6:30 for middle and high school teachers.  Sessions will take place at Hawthorne Learning Center in Smyrna and Big Shanty Elementary in Kennesaw. Elementary sessions will include a combination of science and social studies.

The Dodgen Middle School Science Olympiad Team cordially invites you to participate in the Dodgen Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament on Saturday, January 21, 2017. This Middle School "B" Tournament will be held at Dodgen Middle School, 1725 Bill Murdock Road, Marietta GA 30062.

In an effort to have more Science Olympiad winners, teams can compete in two flights: One flight for teams who have experience and another flight for those teams who are just starting or those who have not frequented state competitions. All 23 events will run.
