Student Required Forms

The 2027 Cobb-Paulding Regional Science Fair will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2027
8:00 am-4:00 pm.

Lovinggood MS: 3825 Luther Ward Rd., Powder Springs, GA 30127.

How It Works
  1. Complete required forms with all necessary signatures. Many forms must be approved before experimentation begins.
  2. Participate in your local school science fair in Cobb or Paulding County.
  3. Students who advance from their school fair qualify for the Cobb-Paulding Regional Science Fair.
  4. Schools complete registration and submit all required paperwork for advancing projects.
  5. Students bring their completed project and display board to Lovinggood Middle School on Saturday, January 30, 2027.
  6. Projects are judged during the regional fair, and selected students may advance to the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair.
Please note that your project must obtain proper approval before the research (project) is started and may require other important forms which can be found here.

Student Attendance Zones
for the Cobb/Paulding Regional Science Fair

Per Georgia Science and Engineering Fair rules, middle and high school home-school/cyber students who reside in Cobb or Paulding Counties must participate in the local school fair of the school they are zoned to attend. If that school does not offer a science fair, the student should participate in the next nearest local school fair. This also applies to private school students whose school does not offer a science fair.

Please email Dr. Christian Cali ([email protected]) if you need help contacting your locally-zoned school.
